Administrative Services

Tamarack Waldorf School seeks an experienced, collaborative colleague to serve in the role of Administrative Services. Working with the administrative team, the school’s Administrative Services position will play a key role in overseeing school information technology needs, and supporting the team with Milwaukee Parental Choice Program paperwork, sports team and new employee support, database management and communications/reporting functions of the school, school community, and the Waldorf movement. The role will support the Administrator and the administrative team with the administrative work of the school.

Experience in, or engagement with, Waldorf Education will be a plus for any candidate. This is a non-exempt half-time role, 20 hours per week.
Required experience, knowledge, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in education administration or a related field
Experience: Information technology, keyboarding and database management, 5 years’ experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel

Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Tamarack Waldorf School is a private school in Milwaukee and participates in the Milwaukee Parental Choice (voucher) Program. Tamarack currently has a robust pre-K-11th grade enrollment of approximately 300 students and, having added one high school grade a year, will expand into the 12th grade in September 2017. Winds Instrument Music Teacher

Tamarack Waldorf School is currently seeking candidates for a part-time Winds Instrument teacher for Grades 5-8 for the 2017-2018 school year.  The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and must have experience teaching middle school students.

PE/Movement Teacher Grades 1 – 8

Tamarack Waldorf School is currently seeking candidates for a part-time Physical Education/Movement teacher for Grades 1-8 for the 2017-2018 school year.  The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and must have experience teaching elementary school students.  Waldorf experience is preferred.

 Substitutes Needed

Substitutes teachers are needed for this school year for the Early Childhood, Elementary and High School. Qualified candidates must have a B.A. with successful teaching experience.  Subs are called intermittently, so a regular scheduled is not possible.  Our whole community is asked to help us build the Substitute Teacher roster.  Please think of who you know who may be interested in this opportunity. Tamarack Waldorf School is a private Waldorf school established in 1996 as an urban school embracing diversity in Milwaukee.
