Tamarack Waldorf School is a private Waldorf school established in 1996 as an urban school embracing diversity in Milwaukee. We offer a complete curriculum for students from pre-school and kindergarten through ninth grade. Tamarack welcomes students and families of all races, religions and cultures. Because we believe Waldorf education should be within the reach of all, regardless of income, we participate in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP), in addition to administering our own tuition assistance program.

Tamarack elementary faculty and students are fortunate to be within walking distance of many nature settings in an urban landscape, such as the Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan. The Brady Street area is a dynamic community with much to offer. Tamarack high school faculty are part of a dynamic new presence in the Dr. MLK Jr. Drive neighborhood, along with Growing Power and other community-minded organizations.
