 German Teacher, Grades 1 – 8

Tamarack Waldorf School is currently seeking candidates for a part-time German teacher for Grades 1-8 for the 2017-2018 school year.  The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and must have experience teaching elementary students.  Waldorf teacher training and/or experience is preferred.

Tamarack Waldorf School is a full member of AWSNA and participates in the Milwaukee Parental Choice (voucher) Program.  Tamarack currently has a robust pre-K-12th grade enrollment of approximately 300 students.  A culturally, economically and racially diverse student body from throughout the Milwaukee region is guided through the full complement of Waldorf Education by Tamarack’s well-trained, innovative, highly professional and long-serving faculty and staff.  Tamarack faculty and students enjoy the urban landscape of Milwaukee, and natural settings such as the Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan, within walking distance of the school.

Applied Arts Assistant

Tamarack Waldorf School is currently seeking part-time, Grades 1-8 Applied Arts Assistants for
the 2017-18 school year. The qualified candidate must have a B.A. and must have experience
with children ages 7-14. Waldorf School experience is preferred. This position will be supporting
handwork and woodwork classes, availability through grades 1-8 will be necessary.

Tamarack Waldorf School is a full member of AWSNA, has a robust Pre-K—12th grade
enrollment of approximately 275 students, and participates in the Milwaukee Parental Choice
(voucher) Program. A culturally, economically and racially diverse student body from throughout
the Milwaukee region is guided through the full complement of Waldorf Education by Tamarack’s
well-trained, innovative, highly professional and long-serving faculty and staff. We are pleased
to have started a high school in 2014 and will add a 12th grade this coming school year.

Tamarack faculty and students are fortunate the school is within walking distance of many
nature settings in an urban landscape, such as the Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan.

 Substitutes Needed

Substitutes teachers are needed for this school year for the Early Childhood, Elementary and High School. Qualified candidates must have a B.A. with successful teaching experience.  Subs are called intermittently, so a regular scheduled is not possible.  Our whole community is asked to help us build the Substitute Teacher roster.  Please think of who you know who may be interested in this opportunity. Tamarack Waldorf School is a private Waldorf school established in 1996 as an urban school embracing diversity in Milwaukee.
